I began this year by writing out a short autobiography. I find that looking back on the past helps me see my path ahead. I dug up jpegs buried in floppies and zip disks from as far back as 1996.
Rainy Day Girl is my first smutty shoot. At that time we used an instamatic film camera. I was a bit shy, and later I felt embarassed picking up the prints from the neighborhood photo place, so Jay and I immediately got a little Casio digital camera. It had a swiveling body so he and I could frame our shots in the LCD monitor. The resolution only went as high as 320 x 240 pixels, but our enthusiasm made up for it.
There was a raw energy in our early shoots. I had just begun exploring my sexuality – I was an eager student and Jay was an amazing teacher. In time I became more confident, my skin cleared up and I bloomed into a beautiful woman inside and out. Almost in sync we upgraded to better cameras, hardware and software. I see myself continuing to grow as fast as technology does.
