We are now off on our new adventure. Anchors in storage in California, we are living in a little lakeside cabin in Maine. We’re playing everything by instinct and whim. We are not attempting to go around the world in 80 days. We are nomads looking for home.

Here is a list of places I am interested in visiting:

  • New York City – my old stomping ground. I love winter in New York. I hope it snows this year.
  • Amsterdam – I have a feeling Jay would love it in Amsterdam.
  • Paris – I want to know why Paris is the city of l’amour.
  • Barcelona – where my friend Miriam spent her teen years, and she is so awesome!
  • Venice – Italy strikes me as a very festive place.
  • Greece – I want to meet sexy gods and goddesses and see Greek theatre in Greece.
  • Tokyo – I love Japanese pop art! I can’t wait to shop for clothes!
  • Bangkok – I had such a great time in Thailand when I visited five years ago.
  • Bali – awesome beaches, Balinese dancing, gotta see that!
  • Philippines – I have to come home eventually.

I mentioned mostly cities, but I would really enjoy beaches and rural areas, too. I’ll be adding to this list as time goes by. Any suggestions on places to visit?

The world’s your oyster, honey…there’s so much to see and do!

Shanghai…where East met West hundreds of years ago and the world has never since been the same.

Cairo…ancient civilization in one of the most unique natural settings on Earth.

Montreal…the Old and New Worlds enjoy a happy symbiosis in the most beautiful city on the continent.

    St.Petersburg…melancholy beauty at its finest.

Patagonia…sit in the sand on a quiet beach at the end of the world and see Antarctica from a comfortable distance!

Oh hell, there’s so much more to see. Just make sure you send us some pictures, mmmkay? :)
