This reminds me of what happened when Jay cut my hair:

me: yesterday when Jay cut my hair he got splintered by a strand of my hair about a whole inch deep.
He said his hand was throbbing to the middle of his forearm
Tom: wow!
how does that happen?!
me: He is convinced I’m some kiind of cyborg

That’s crazy, I’ve never heard anything like that before. I hope you made it up to him
After the hair cut, I was outside with her tank top that was covered in clippings, and I was using one of those 3M sticky lint rollers to clean up her shirt while she showered. My hand inside the shirt somehow got skewered by one of her hairs from the roller action, and I could not pull it out. My whole hand and arm got numb, and it was bizarre. You’ve all seen a hair work it’s way into fabric, it did the same thing into the pad of my middle left finger. Wicked.
