Biggest News of the Day:

We are packing up our winter cottage in Maine and moving on. I had an amazing year, experiencing all four seasons to their fullest, swimming in the summer, joyriding through the psychedelic forests in the autumn, skiing in the winter, and feeling the shot of excitement upon seeing birds, squirrels and crocuses in the spring. I will miss the friends I made here in Maine. Part of me will always belong here, but it’s time to look forward and move on.

May 6 we are arriving in New York City. No place to stay. Yet.

I’ll get all that sorted out within the next couple of weeks. I’m really excited! There’s nothing like a year in an isolated cabin in the woods to build up my yearning for the big city. Yearn. I mean that.
