I’ve been really into bunnies this toy-buying season. Bunnies!!! They’re so cute and fluffy and badass! Like Monty Python’s Holy Grail badass.

The Bunnyfish is a bit of a departure from the classic badass bunny, but I just had to have one. Over the weekend, our wee one had a birthday party, and our friend John Fox decided to gift us with a Wii. We’ve been playing with this new toy nonstop since. When we weren’t playing, Jay was buying Wii accessories: extra controllers, steering wheels for driving games and Wii Fit, this amazing fitness package that I did yoga on this afternoon.

Playing sport games on Wii is awesome. Wii tries to get gamers off the couch and get their bodies moving. Other games don’t translate well, though, and got us hooking our old Game Cube controllers back up.

As soon as Jay carved this stamp of my image, I knew we needed to reproduce it into everything under the sun. I’m already using the stamp for my correspondence stationery, but that’s just not enough. I got my GoPro underwater digital camera in the mail today. Sweet!!! It’s been out of stock at so many different sites, I was almost prepared for disappointment.

As soon as Jay got the camera out of its packaging, I headed straight to the lake and took some photos. The wrist strap thing was way too unwieldy, and obviously meant for men with large muscular forearms, not my skinny wrists. I held the camera with its tight waterproof casing in my right hand and went for it.

Mostly I took photos like this underwater shot of the lake bottom. This was about 6 feet underwater. Anything deeper and it’s much darker. It was just before sunset after all, past 6 pm. Maybe I’ll get better photos closer to noon.
