I love my new home. We still have a pile of boxes unopened, but everything I need is out and getting some play. Life is good. A bit busy maybe, but really good. There’s a lot to do, you know. Making my home beautiful, spending time with the people I love. We’re eating well, living well, loving well.

When I crashed my blog in July I took a little break from the internet and have been spending a lot more time in real life. It was very frustrating to lose 6 years worth of diary entries. I moped around for a couple of days, but after that I just decided I would move on. I could spend my time trying to get my xml file to load on to a new blog platform or enjoy a beautiful sunny day happening outside my window. I chose the incredibly sensuous world of the beach.

Still in the back of my mind I itched to type up silly nothings. Jay and I have been taking naughty pictures here and there, getting excited about sexy projects. This new diary will be the portal for all that fun media mayhem Jay and I get all turned on about.

I still am attached to my diary entries from 2002 to 2008, some of the entries a very emotional record of my life. I wish I could compile excerpts from my past diary archives into a book. With dirty pictures, of course. Now if only I can find a publisher or printer (for self-publishing) that would print porn…

I finished this orange and lime green hand knit bikini! There were a lot of fun memories knit into it: hot summer days and breezy summer nights. It’s as hot as it gets here in the San Francisco Bay Area this week. I enjoyed sitting in the back deck watching Jay and our wee one splash around in the inflatable pool. We’re making as many memories as we can of our home before we leave at the end of the month to spend the summer in Maine.

Tom Cooz ran his fingers through the stitches on my bikini bottom one night. I was beginning the crotch rows and I told him I was knitting our moment together into it. I was telling him how knitting is similar to binary code, arrangements of 1’s and 0’s, knits or purls. He said women spies during the early 20th century wars used to send information through knitting. A new skill in Super Spy Chick’s arsenal!

I realize the photo I have above doesn’t show off the bikini too well, so I’m posting another photo which shows the bikini off better (but reveals more of my post-motherhood belly than I really want to show).

Many beautiful girls in small bikinis. And even more nice guys by the way (all playing volleybal or foot-volleybal at the beach) so my girl was also very pleased. Though Ipanema was probably even better than the copacabana. It was a bit richer (not that many homeless people sleeping in the streets) and had the hippest beachware. My girl bought some really small bikini’s (would look really great on you too). The nice thing about Brazil is that sexuality is not age-bound. also on the beaches the ‘elderly’ women (say around 60) are still wearing this tiny beachware, and flirt with the guys. Great. I added the word “philosophy” to my blog, because I really like the idea of philosophy as a part of daily life, as you wrote on your last email. On my blog, I write about my life, love and sex… that’s the study of philosophy. The word “philosophy” breaks down from the latin “philo,” meaning love; and “sophia,” meaning life. Love of Life.

Write me more… I’ll publish our correspondence on my blog, and we can let the article evolve that way. It’s exciting!

We spent a couple of days in Bangkok, recovering from jetlag and getting to know the area. I did a little bit of shopping at Siam, a few train stops away. Just got a cute red bikini, some Thai silk scarves and a traditional Thai dress. Then we headed to Pattaya, a beach town two hours away by bus. It was a recreational spot for the American men back in the Vietnam War, which became a tourist destination from then on. Nana Tours, from the hotel lobby took care of everything so our transport to Pattaya went smoothly.

I am in love with this place. The beach is gorgeous, lined with coconut trees, umbrellas and lounging chairs. I pointed out trees I remembered from my childhood, mostly mangoes, papayas, and guavas. Bangkok had some fruit stalls, but nothing compared to Pattaya. This must be paradise!!!

We are staying at the Nova Lodge, which has a courtyard with a swimming pool and many trees. Last night we took a tour of the beach strip beer bars and caught a glimpse of the lady-boys after their show at the Alcazar. Tonight I’m going to Tiffany’s to see a lady-boy show, and I am expecting top rate entertainment. This morning I swam a couple of laps at the pool and had a most appetizing breakfast. Papayas, pineapple and watermelon are in season at this time. I spied some atis at the fruit market, so I’ll be heading over there as soon as I’m done here.

The locals keep talking to me in the Thai language, so I may have to learn a few phrases, but I’ve learned to put my hands together into a praying position in front of my chin as a gesture of thanks for the wonderful welcome I have received here.
