My music site, Strip Karaoke 2.0 is up. I call it 2.0 because all the content is set up entirely on tumblr, and social networking sites, such as Last.FM, MySpace, T61 and YouTube. Very exciting for me to be able to bring my music to people who will appreciate it. Springtime is for airing things out, cleaning, pruning… I’ve been busy. I’ve put off so much work that I am now getting to. I’m dealing with a certain webmaster who is infringing on my copyrighted materials (thank you to my fabulous lawyer friends for helping me out!). I finally did a major backup of all my files into a more compact but just as powerful hard drive so wherever I may travel this summer, I will have my files along with me. I finally *gulp* reformatted my PC and it is now working fast and furiously. Though my heart will always belong to my Mac laptop for all the places we’ve been and all the amazing things we’ve done together, my PC is a hardworking son of a bitch and I’m proud of it.

I’ve finally gotten MAYCAM to a place I’m happy with. Just a tiny little bit of tweaking, and I’ll be able to slurp my content up into it easily. I just updated it again, with new photo sets, including the photo above (in larger files, of course). I do wish IrfanView was available on a Mac, because la fuck-a-racha it rocks!

I have many art and literary projects brewing. Forgive me for being brief. I’ve been putting this off for a while. Tonight I finally loaded the xml file I exported from my crashed blog before I declared it dead. It took!!! But it only had January 2002 to March 2003 in it. Big disappointment, but one giant step toward rebuilding my entire archives. Now if I can figure out how to extract the rest of 2003 to 2008 from the database corpse…

Right now I am looking each entry over, checking for dead links, re-path-ing media, taking a trip down memory lane. I should be in bed by now. Every night I tell myself I will go to bed earlier, but every night I get sucked into cyberspace like a junkie.

Everything is rebuilt completely from January to July 2002. There are Quicktime videos up from way back when we were hanging out with Max Hardcore and his entourage. Hot stuff! Those videos are available bigger, faster and sexier on MAYCAM.

Speaking of Max, I got a question from hypoluxahermespan: I don’t know if you want to discuss this, but since you shot for him (wow, what a scene that was). what are your feelings regarding Max Hardcore and his pending imprisonment?

For as long as I’ve known him, Max Hardcore seems to always be in some sort of legal battle defending his right to make the kind of smut he makes. Like Larry Flynt before him, Max Hardcore tests the limits of Freedom of Speech/Self-Expression. He wins every time because America really does care about freedom more than morality. Each community’s mores are so different, but everyone in America will defend their liberty. I have faith in that.

Those of you who follow my Twitter know I’ve been trying to load my Wordpress blog to the iPhone app. It finally worked, thanks to Wordpress iPhone support, Naked Hosting support, www.hyam.net and maitremiju. Testing now…

I love my new home. We still have a pile of boxes unopened, but everything I need is out and getting some play. Life is good. A bit busy maybe, but really good. There’s a lot to do, you know. Making my home beautiful, spending time with the people I love. We’re eating well, living well, loving well.

When I crashed my blog in July I took a little break from the internet and have been spending a lot more time in real life. It was very frustrating to lose 6 years worth of diary entries. I moped around for a couple of days, but after that I just decided I would move on. I could spend my time trying to get my xml file to load on to a new blog platform or enjoy a beautiful sunny day happening outside my window. I chose the incredibly sensuous world of the beach.

Still in the back of my mind I itched to type up silly nothings. Jay and I have been taking naughty pictures here and there, getting excited about sexy projects. This new diary will be the portal for all that fun media mayhem Jay and I get all turned on about.

I still am attached to my diary entries from 2002 to 2008, some of the entries a very emotional record of my life. I wish I could compile excerpts from my past diary archives into a book. With dirty pictures, of course. Now if only I can find a publisher or printer (for self-publishing) that would print porn…

You read that right, I have begun password protecting some of my entries, which is strange coming from an internet exhibitionist like me. I’m sure you’re wondering why, after so many years of baring my skin and spreading my legs for the camera, am I suddenly shy. What else have I got to hide from the people who’ve seen virtually every pore on my body and even peeked inside my private parts?

The truth is I have been holding out on you, my dear blog viewers. I’ve had photos that I have kept hidden in my hard drive, photos I’ve felt were a bit more revealing than I was comfortable with having up 24/7 for any stranger or familiar to see. Not to mention archived photos from way back when I used to maintain a members-only pay site, now stored in a hard drive in a safe deposit box in California.

I really don’t want to have another members site. That is just so early 2000’s! I’ve done it. It wasn’t that satisfying. I’m over it. Now is the age of Radiohead and Prince freeing their music. Now is the age of Porn 2.0 – a more fulfilling exhibitionistic/voyeuristic experience based not on the impersonal swipe of a credit card, but on real social relationships.

I want to develop real virtual relationships, a community of smart and sexy people. My password protected posts are accessible by invitation only, for people I have come to consider as friends and worthwhile contributors to the quality of my sexual experience. I want something to share with these valued contributors, a virtual space made valuable by its relative exclusivity.

There is only one way to be invited: Woo me.

Fill in your real email address so I can send you a little note, with maybe a password to my protected entries. Toss in a link to your blog, so I can get to know you, too. If you are on any of the social networking sites that I am also on, be my friend. Send me comments, write on my wall, follow me. 2. Show me your hotness! If you’ve already sent me a link to your blog or added me as a friend on any of the social networking sites mentioned above, then this is redundant. 3. Make me your muse. I love getting artwork inspired by my image. Draw me, paint me, carve me into marble, whatever it is you do, photograph/scan it and send me a jpg. I am unapologetically narcissistic and vain, but you already knew that.

It’s almost summertime! What are you doing stuck in front of your computer all day? Get out and get some sun! Go and breathe some fresh air. Being a mother has taken over my life. I have hardly any time to spend on myself, let alone run up to my desktop computer to type up a blog entry. I may have to rethink this blog for the coming year. No more lengthy entries. It will be a good challenge for me to be more concise in my writing. Possibly have to take it down if I don’t figure out a way to keep it going… I’m examining the possibility of having a moblog instead. My sister got me a mobile phone for Christmas – a Nokia 6620!
